Bioessence - Makati

Great ambiance! The place itself is very relaxing. When we first walk in, it smelled like mint and tea. It was very relaxing, coupled with the courteous staffs. They offered us tea while we were waiting for the sauna room to heat up. The place itself is also very convenient, it's just in front of Greenbelt. The sauna was very relaxing, I felt like I sweat out all my toxins and stress. Haha! The massage was amazing! The masseuer assigned to me, ate Melai or Melanie, was very nice to talk to. She answered my questions and was really energetic even if she has been massaging the whole day. I did not feel unnecessary pains like I usually would. In fact, I feel very comfortable and wanted to sleep. The diamond peel and the oxygen infusion was amazing! I have been thinking about how stressed, dull and dry my skin looks like the past few months. I was actually expecting the same after the treatment but I was shocked to see that my skin kinda looked blurry as if I had the skin blur effect turned on. All in all, the service is great and the place is very clean. Looking forward to my next schedule!

The massage was so relaxing. My massage therapist really had strong hands and she got most of my knots on my back.

The branch has since transferred to Ayala North Exchange. I had the deep pore cleansing facial. The service is good. I always felt my face to be thoroughly cleansed and my skin bright after a facial in Bioessence Makati. I do not experienced any redness after each facial at Bioessence, hence, I would always go have a facial whenever I am in Makati. The downside though is that the therapist would always tend to sell their products during the facial session. One time, the therapist convincing me to do warts removal, this visit, the therapist is trying to sell me their pore cleansing product. Also, I can hear the noisy chat of other therapists outside the treatment room (probably in the hallway or wherever they have congregated outside) - this decreases the relaxing experience.

I opted for a mixed shiatsu and Swedish massage, and they used menthol-infused massage oil, which was different from the typical essential oil blends used at other spas. Unfortunately, I ended up smelling like an elderly person after the session, so I wouldn't recommend it for those seeking a high-quality massage experience.
