The employees do their job well

I didn’t have such a great experience at this salon. I had just gotten my nails done, after my nails I decided to get a hydrafacial, on the brochure they handed me a hydrafacial was listed as 1,200. So I decided to get it done. After the treatment was done I was told that the hydrafacial was 1,500… I asked them where does it say 1,500? They could not show me any paper or menu that says 1,500 and they were just verbally saying it was 1,500. The brochure and the menu posted up front clearly both say 1,200 for a hydrafacial. I was quite upset because as a foreigner (Canadian) I felt as though they were intentionally just trying to increase the price due to the simple fact that I’m a foreigner… me and my partner (who is a local) spoke to the manager over the phone which didn’t help at all because all she kept saying was "we increased the price because we have a brand new machine and we have not gotten the chance to change our menu prices". That responsibility should not fall upon the customer, it is the salons fault for not updating their prices… after arguing back and forth for quite a while they FINALLY decide to charge me 1,200 which was the original posted price. This whole altercation was very upsetting and I wish this will never happen to any other customers in the future. Please do better. Ps. Not to mention the bruise they gave me on my forehead from doing a dry skin evacuation, from my understanding the tech did not assure there was water coming from the nozzle before putting it on my skin. I also did not feel them use the suction tool everywhere on my face which is the whole point of the hydrafacial… they only used it on 3-4 areas on my face and not even on the pore areas. This treatment was a 2/10 and was not done properly at this specific clinic.
