This nail salon has always been my go to since it’s near my house, and I’ve always had good experiences with the other nail technicians. The place is clean, the staff are usually gentle, and that’s why I keep coming back. This time, unfortunately, my experience was not as comfortable as before. During nail prep and cleaning, the handling felt rough, and I had some small cuts that caused bleeding. I was also uncomfortable because gloves were not used, and her nails were used to clean the sides, which felt unhygienic to me. I also felt uncomfortable with the way my nails were cleaned the nail drill was used very quickly and aggressively. Because of this, it felt like there wasn’t enough focus or care while working on my nails, which added to the discomfort. I didn’t want to complain too much during the service because I understand that everyone has their own technique, and I truly believe this salon is good overall. However, for future visits, I may choose to be selective with the technician I book with. I chose not to mention her name, but I hope this feedback reaches the right person.

I’ve finally decided to write a review because this has happened 3 times. All three instances, I called ahead to ask if there’s a free slot in 10 minutes as I live close by. They always say there’s no slot. I understand, it’s last minute. But whenever I’d pass by around the same time, all chairs are empty. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence but all three times empty salon is weird to me. Don’t know what’s up but I hope this review reaches the right person.

Very poor service. I came for a regular gel manicure, which usually takes about an hour, but I ended up spending almost three hours here. It was difficult to contact the salon in advance, and communication was very slow. The manicure itself was done badly — the cuticles were rough, there were hangnails left, and the gel polish was uneven and streaky, even after several layers. It even touched the cuticle and got onto the skin. They tried to redo some parts, changed technicians halfway through without explanation, and the second technician worked very roughly, which was painful. In the end, the result still looked unprofessional and messy. Considering the time and effort, I definitely would not recommend this salon.

Booked through their online appointment form but they prefer booking by calling, so our booking didn’t show up—even if it was confirmed on email. We were accommodated after an hour and a half. Got the package with the foot spa and it was all good except the gel manicure. There was dust inside the first coat and remnants of the polish around the nail. I felt like the coats were pretty streaky too. I have to clean it now when I get home.

I got a beautiful hard gel manicure done at Tulua. The salon is very clean and comfortable. I got to lay in a reclining chain relaxing while the treatment was done. The ambiance was clean and professional. I can’t wait to go back!
