This was my second visit to this spa. My first experience was great, which is why I returned—and even invited a few friends to try it with me, expecting the same level of service. Unfortunately, this visit was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I booked an 80-minute massage, requesting a combination of Shiatsu and Swedish techniques. The session started normally, but as the therapist moved upwards, they repeatedly pressed their finger against my anus. Despite not receiving any response from me, they proceeded to insert their finger, which was not only unsolicited but also painful. While I don’t mind a bit of sensuality mixed in, the insertion of a finger in such an intimate and uncomfortable manner is not something that everyone, including myself, wants. The spa offers sensual services, but I had specifically requested a therapeutic massage, and such actions should never be assumed or imposed on clients who did not opt for them. From that point, the massage quality declined, and addressing the issue verbally was difficult, as the treatment areas were only separated by curtains, making conversations easily overheard. When the session ended, the therapist insisted the full 70 minutes had elapsed. Checking the time, I saw only 68 minutes had passed, and I reminded them that my booking was for 80 minutes. However, I had no desire to continue the session any further. Despite my dissatisfaction, the therapist still expected an immediate tip, refusing to receive it through the reception desk and insisting on direct payment. The manager was professional and offered a complimentary massage, but I declined because it was already late, and I had something to do early the next day. Additionally, my friends would be waiting for me, and I couldn’t afford to spend another 80 minutes there. What makes this even more disappointing is that I had invited nine friends to experience the spa based on my previous visit. After this, I deeply regret that recommendation. While my first visit was positive, this experience completely changed my perception of the spa. I hope management ensures that therapists respect client preferences and maintain professional boundaries, regardless of the services the spa offers.
