Went here for a massage after work. Ang ganda ng place and napaka-relaxing talaga. I will definitely go back since napakalapit lang sa condo unit ko, which is Kasara. 10/10, will recommend this spa.

The place gives a relaxing vibe. There was no problem with our reservation although it was a week day afternoon within office hours, and so it was expected that there were still just a few customers. We were attended to right away. We availed their Swedish massage for 2 hours. The massage itself was okay, but I couldn't really say it was relaxing as there were a bit too much painful strokes despite choosing moderate pressure. Also, the air-conditioning was too cold for us. My hands and feet were freezing! We still plan to go back to Chang mainly because of its vicinity to our place, but I guess we will have a shorter session next time.

Tried the Chang Thai branch in C5 and honestly it was disappointing. I went out of my way (As seen in the first photo) to try this branch after having an amazing experience in Kapitolyo, but it just didn’t compare. My masseuse wasn’t really hospitable — not friendly at all, just had a poker face the whole time. When I told her my preferences (soft massage but harder pressure and focus on my lower back), she didn’t really follow. It felt like she didn’t know where to apply pressure even if I was pointing it out. The massage itself wasn’t that relaxing, and the stretches felt more like I was being thrown around than properly stretched. What made me uncomfortable too was during the foot spa, I got a bit shy about my legs and mentioned it politely, but she looked annoyed, which made me feel awkward. In a spa, you’d expect the staff to make you feel relaxed, comfortable, and cared for, not uneasy. Though the branch looked nice and the ambiance was great. Sadly, I left feeling like I wasted my ₱850 on an inexperienced masseuse. Definitely not the same level as Kapitolyo.

Chang C5 is conveniently located within Seaoil, on the second floor. We came in as walk-ins on a weekday after lunch for a 60-minute foot massage priced at ₱600. We were accommodated immediately. The therapists were skilled and mindful of maintaining a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The space is smaller compared to other branches but remains clean, cozy, and peaceful. They accept both cash and GCash payments. Parking is free and hassle-free. Just note that it’s not wheelchair-friendly, as the only access is via stairs.

I reviewed Chang Thai a few months ago and didn’t try it because of bad booking experience with the receptionist trying to book a massage for 2. Yesterday, my husband booked it for us and it was okay. I mean, good massage, except that the pillow they provide to hold your face in place while getting a back massage was suffocating.
