Masseuse à l’accueil désagréable. Massage de 45mn au lieux d’1h. Pas de lumière obligé de prendre son téléphone pour voir le lit. J’ai eu des démangeaisons pendant le massage à cause de l’huile ou de la saleté sur les draps. J’ai toujours des petits points rouge sur les cuisses. La pire endroit de massage d’Asie. Fuyez y’a mieux ailleurs !

Depends on the therapist that is assign to you.... It's a hit or miss.

I contacted a masseur as a result of his posting on the Facebook page "Male massage therapist", a group with well over 9,000 members. He informed me of the cost, and as a result I visited his salon today, or rather the salon he said he worked for. As requested, I texted him when I arrived, but when he didn’t respond immediately I went inside the salon on account of the midday heat. I asked for him by name, and the proprietor of the salon informed me that she had never heard of him. Warning sign #1. I will refrain from naming the salon, as I believe this man has nothing to do with it. I retreated to the heat of the sidewalk, and messaged him again, reiterating that something was astray. He then messaged, and told me to wait, and a minute later appeared at the doorway adjacent, and led me up to the third floor to this particular business, Wellness Touch Massage & Spa. The floor was worn, the walls covered in a tacky green wallpaper, and the fabric curtains frayed. Warning sign #2. The receptionist has to be woken from her slumber in one of the massage "cubicles". Warning sign #3. I asked for the 1.5 hour combo massage (Swedish, Shiatsu and Thai, from memory) and was asked to pay the 600php fee up front. The massage salon had the narrowest massage rooms imaginable, so much so that the basket with my clothes in it was on the massage bed for the whole of the massage. We started the massage, and to be fair, he was pretty good. But at best the style was exclusively Swedish massage. It was going pretty fast, and then he asked if I wanted any extras, which I declined. After that he switched to a head massage, and then: massage over. I asked him if he was sure and told him that I had booked and paid for a 90 minute massage. He said yes, time’s finished. I got dressed, and then checked my phone. Just 45 minutes had passed. I confronted him about it, and asked him why he had cut it short. He replied it was short because I didn’t ask for a certain type of massage. Correct… I wanted what I had ordered, nothing else. I then told him he was shortsighted, because I was not going to return and he could have got 3 or 4 more bookings out of me. And I left. In hindsight, I should have asked for a refund of the difference between the 45 minute massage I’d received, and the 90 minutes one I’d paid for. So more fool me. Why do people do this? It trashes their reputation. Do not visit Wellness Touch Massage & Spa. Having said that, this warning may be unnecessary - I was the only idiot there during my entire short visit.
