Overall this is the average type of message you get in the Philippines. FYI. The pressure was a little bit high. But that's standard for Filipino they work hard long hours. As in most messages parlours the girls don't quite know what they're doing. But honestly it's the same as the UK. (More so. I would say) Unless your paying big bucks medical massage. So for the money guys it's worth it. Just talk to the therapist first. Say relaxing oil. They understand. Swedish they don't. Thats my advice. ( Talk to them. )So do you research happy travellers of the Philippines.

Had the 1 hour Thai massage with Jun-Jun, male massager, hard/firm pressure. Second time had the 1.5 hour Thai massage with Jun-Jun, hard/firm pressure. I was very pleased with the firmness of the massage. Rarely can I find a massager who will give hard pressure and work out knots. Jun-Jun would find tight spots and work them out, sometimes painful but had much sought out relief after. The prices are unbeatable. The second massage took place during their happy hour so the 400P 90 minute massage price was reduced to 350! There is nice, soft music playing in the background with air conditioning. You change into a set of pajamas for the massage. If you're not picky about having a spa or luxury setting and just want a good massage at a good price, come check this place out. If you like hard/firm pressure, I recommend Jun-Jun. 👍👍👍

The masseuse really worked on my tight shoulders—she dug into all the "lamig," though given the time, not all of it could be worked out. I just realized that I should’ve gone for 2hrs. The place is decent; I appreciated the quiet atmosphere with no chitchat between therapists and clients, and the relaxing spa music. Don’t expect a high-end, fancy interior—it’s not about luxury here. We came for muscle relief and relaxation, and they delivered on that front. Will definitely come back here when I’m in Cebu. I walked there tonight and I got a Swedish massage for 300 pesos. The massage area was very small. Was difficult to get undressed. After I was on the table (which was very skinny) my elbow was touching the curtain in the next area. The young lady did a fair job. I don't think she had been giving massages very long. She seemed unsure at times. And I paid for an hour but only got about 52 minutes. Probably won't go back to this location. Everybody is nice. But for the same price, you can try other nicer places.

I was looking for a massage spa online when I came across HEL-AN THAI MASSAGE AND SPA. Since my favorite place, NUAT THAI Colon was fully booked, I decided to give this one a try. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the WORST MASSAGE EXPERIENCE I've ever had! 😡😤 Sus! ug walang ko giduka. Mu-reklamu gyud ko! But it's almost 12AM! The pressure was extremely soft, and even after I requested the therapist to use firmer pressure, she didn't comply. It was clear that she wasn't fully trained. Additionally, she did not massage my hands, arms, or feet during the 1.5-hour session, which cost over ph600 with a tip. Their staff did not guide their customers at all! They don't clean your feet with warm water, they simply wiped them down and didn’t assist me with my slippers or shoes before or after the treatment. The therapist seemed to be in a hurry as well; Mao diay kauliun na! I had paid for an hour and a half, but it didn’t feel like I received the full-time. I will never return to this place again! I DON'T recommend it!
