About Face by Ms. Mel Cruz

Since I have no idea how to apply make up and fix my hair, the first I thing I booked on my wed day was HMUA. Glad I found Ms Mel sa isang group & nung natanong ko available pa siya that day. I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant basta lang I won’t look plain. Voila! I love my look, simple pero very fresh lang and light. Bait pa, mabilis kausap, magaan ang hands & magsusuggest siya ng mga bagay sayo. She really was my fairy godmother last saturday. Highly recommended. ❤️

Sobrang highly recommended ko si Ms. Mel and her team. Maalaga at mabait, sobrang galing din nila. Kahit may time pressure dahil ang dami namin memakeupan, di ka nila mamadaliin, chillax lang sila at dahil dito napanatili kong zen ang sarili ko. Nasunod niya yung make-up pegs ko at looks na gusto ko. Kahit yung kulay ng makeup ko ineexplain pa niya sakin, na ganito ang bagay dahil morena ako. She also managed to make me look fresh on my wedding day kahit na wala akong tulog (wedding cramming and jitters?hehe). Worried nga ako na madaling humulas makeup ko kasi pawisin ako at naturally oily ang face, 2pm pa naman wedding namin kaya extra challenge talaga pero hindi pala ako dapat nagworry dahil wala talagang hulas hehe. Sobrang daming nagcommend sa look ko on my wedding day and it is all thanks to her and her team. Ang galing din ni ms.Julie, my hair stylist, dahil kuha niya lahat ng hair styles na gusto ko. At kahit anong pawis ko, ang tibay ng kulot ng buhok ko hehe. I highly recommend Ms. Mel and her team!

Mel did my hair and make when I attended a wedding as a principal sponsor. From my first inquiry I knew she was going to be awesome, she was very responsive. Mel is very professional and captured what I was looking for. I never had airbrush done before, but it felt so light like I wasn’t wearing any make up yet have a great coverage. The outside temperature was warm and humid that day but my make up lasted all day with no touch-ups. I especially love how she blended the colors on my eyes, the result was better than I could have imagined. I would highly recommend Mel Cruz, she’s absolutely the best.

I was so happy that I found Ms. Mel to do my hair and make-up on my wedding day. She made me look and feel gorgeous. She also provided make-up for my Mother, and was equally satisfied as I am. Our make-up looked great all day long and I didn't even bother to have a touchup the whole time. I could tell that she is so talented at her craft and she really love what she does. She is so professional, nice and friendly. I would highly recommend her.

Ms. Mel's attention to detail is excellent. She was really proactive in determining how I wanted my hair to look prior to our occasion together. To me, the fact that she wanted to be prepared days in advance is a sign of professionalism and experience. On the day of my graduation, my outfit needed to be modified. She was collaborating with my designer on logistics because the hotel room was too small for both of them to work comfortably. Ms. Mel is open to my requests and will carry them out successfully. We will undoubtedly collaborate with her again in the future!

I’ve availed the makeup service of Ms. Mel twice already and the final look did not disappoint. First is for our Christmas Party and the second one is for cosplay. Very versatile, kind and accommodating makeup artist! Highly recommend for any events.
