I have a deep dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent visit with this hospital. - If there were a formal way to rate this experience negatively, I would not hesitate to do so. The level of professionalism from both the Emergency and Laboratory staff were unacceptable. Many of the nurses failed to follow basic hygiene protocols, such as hand sanitizing and wearing gloves — a serious concern in any healthcare setting. In the Laboratory, patients were kept waiting unnecessarily. In my case, I was told to return in an hour for my results. I returned after more than an hour, only to find out that the results were not ready, without any prior notice or update. Worse, the staff seemed more focused on chatting and laughing among themselves than attending to their responsibilities. It is disappointing and frustrating to witness such negligence in a place that should prioritize patient care and professionalism. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no patient deserves this kind of treatment.

I was referred to a doctor who has a clinic at the 2nd floor of this hospital. From experience, I made sure to call and make an appointment before going. Later I learned that most clinics on this floor do not accept walk-in patients. My experience today was fairly positive. I arrived an hour before my 8am appointment. The secretary arrived 15 minutes after me. She was accommodating, something a new patient like me appreciates. The doctor was early too and saw me a little before 8.

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Alaba’s secretary. She was rude, unprofessional, and showed no sense of customer service. I called her the day before my consultation to confirm the appointment, and instead of assistance, I was met with nagging and a dismissive attitude. She told me to arrive an hour before the clinic opened, only for her to show up late herself. I ended up waiting for over an hour, and during that time, she even threatened not to book my consultation and put me on the last list. Her behavior was completely inappropriate and unwelcoming. I sincerely hope Dr. Alaba considers hiring a more professional and respectful secretary, as I’ve heard similar complaints from other patients about how poorly she treats people.
