I’ve been a patient at The Skin Centre for more than a decade, and I want to give an honest review. ⭐ 5/5 for Dr. Mungcal - He is the only dermatologist I trust with my skin problems. He has consistently treated my skin effectively, and I’ve recommended him to many relatives and friends. His expertise and care are excellent. However, my experience with the reception staff at the SM City Cabanatuan branch has been extremely disappointing. 0/5 for the receptionists - They are unwelcoming and unapproachable. During my recent visit home (I’m based abroad and only come once a year), I went to the clinic at least twice a week trying to book a facial appointment. Each time, I was told they were fully booked, even when I arrived early in the morning. It was frustrating to be told they were "very busy" despite seeing fewer than 10 patients listed for the day. The front desk is the first point of contact for patients, and sadly, the service does not reflect the quality of care that Dr. Mungcal provides. Management seriously needs to review and consider replacing the reception staff at this branch, as their attitude and handling of appointments greatly affect the overall patient experience. I truly hope this improves, because Dr. Mungcal deserves a team that matches his level of professionalism.
