The day my grandma was admitted to this hospital was also the opening day of their Hinigaran branch, so we decided to try it out because my grandma had been experiencing signs of a mild stroke after surgery the previous week. We decided to admit her to this hospital because it looked promising, with years of construction and claims of advanced hospital equipment that could facilitate a patient's fast recovery. However, during the afternoon of her admission, only one doctor visited her, and most of the promised equipment was unavailable for various reasons. By midnight, we had to transfer her to a hospital in Bacolod, and our bill from the first hospital came to 20,000 – a super disappointing experience, especially since we were trying this hospital for the first time. Now we're at the South Bacolod General Hospital & Medical Center Inc. in Bacolod, and we wanted to discharge her to a public hospital that we can afford. However, this hospital is refusing to release her full medical records, including lab results and CT scans. If we discharge her without these records, we'll have to start all over, and face another bill. So, we've decided to keep her here for now, but our bill is already at 100,000 after only four days.
